Airbnb, Inc. released v23.49.1 for Airbnb Today and here's their update message:
Feel at home wherever you travel with Airbnb. We’re always working to better your experience through improvements and updates to the app.
Hey Morons!! Add an any tab to the top search bar. Those of us who don’t care what type of stay it is, but are rather interested in the cost would really appreciate it.

v23.39
If you have a property to host, you should go for it because Airbnb will definitely protect you from guests whatever it takes. Your slight complaints will be accepted well by Airbnb, and Airbnb take enough action to erase even tiny complaints. Meanwhile, if you are guest, Airbnb wouldn’t help you at all. Even when host insults you, Airbnb will take 0 care about it. After complaining, I got bunch of insulting words from Airbnb through the text message. Also, the host went for rating manipulative action first by starting a negotiation asking if we will not give bad rating on the property and bad review when they refund as I found a rodent in the property. I just refused it. Airbnb’s decision on this: guest tried review manipulation meanwhile host is innocent. I asked for the action on host for weeks to Airbnb, but they did not take any action on host, but they chose to remove my review with rodent in the property. If you are planning to host, you should def go for it! Even when it has rodents!

They’ve started charging 50% over the stated nightly fees. That means a house that $500 a night for a week, it’s over $6000. They’re become a outrageously greedy conglomerate.

Ever since I got the new iPhone 15, when I get a new message from a client, I click on the message to reply, and the screen remains blank. The only way for me to reply is to go to my desktop app and do it there.

What happened to my ability to see all the airbnb’s in an area??? I’ve used this app for years. After this though, I’ll be switching. The development team really messed up this time.

When it works, fine. But when a host cancelled on me 72 hours before a 2 month international trip, the airbb support team was completely useless. After speaking to multiple of their agents who did not competently manage English, I had no resolution, no place to stay, and will have to incur extreme additional expenses because they failed to adequately ensure their hosts comply with their policy. Completely wasted my time, money, and effort and will never book again.

v23.39
I’ve used Airbnb app for at least 20 stays in the last 18 months. overall, it’s great. But, hoping that the developers read this, I have some suggestions for additional filters. I would love to only see properties with a fenced in yard, and also if the owner or another tenant shares the same building. Even when you search by “entire place” and house, it still could be other people under the same roof.
